Luminosity… became a creative outlet with a purpose

Upon retiring I missed getting up every morning with a purpose. Thirty-four years as a community builder gave me a great sense of accomplishment... making Osceola County better place to live, work and play.  I really wanted to take the energy and creativity used during my career and direct into an enjoyable and potentially successful small business. I have always been passionate about nature and decided to support the environment by limiting landfill waste, crafting affordable upcycled gifts and décor. it is a small contribution to a big problem.  The bonus is my handiwork is a labor of love.  Everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy unique pieces that bring warmth to their homes at a reasonable price.  All this positivity while giving discarded items a second life.

Empty bottles are transformed into attractive lamps, and thrift store finds into distinctive, one-of-a-kind gifts for holidays or everyday enjoyment.

Luminosity is just the purposeful outlet I needed to fill my spare time with inventiveness and redirecting my creativity into crafting treasures from discarded items. You can find me at local craft shows.  Monthly I showcase at the American Legion, held during the St. Cloud Market Nights (last Wed. of the month downtown). Mostly, I'm home turning trash to treasure or scouring the thrift stores reimaging items others pass on.
